Looking for an exciting summer job on the water?
Benefits of working at Pacifica include a friendly, supportive, social environment. You’ll get a great mix of working inside and outdoors at the marina, and interacting with people. Customers here are relaxed, friendly, and often on vacation mode, so are easy to interact with. As a perk of the job, you’ll have use of any of the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards for personal time! We'll also have employee paddle trips, so you have a chance to improve your kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding skills, while exploring the Saanich Peninsula shorelines.

Available hours range from part-time to full-time, April to October.

We are looking for people who are self-motivated, outgoing and customer focused. We pride ourselves on creating unique, safe and fun on-water experiences for our guests, and expect all our staff to work efficiently towards this goal. Everyone is expected to work weekend shifts, as well as a mix of day time and evening weekday shifts. The shop is open 9am - 8:30pm in the summer, and we are looking for employees to cover all time frames. All team members must be capable of helping on the dock.

Our workplace is a team environment and our strength is in working together. Great interpersonal, listening and problem solving skills are essential for success in what is usually a busy (and fast-paced) work environment.
